How you will create an impact

• This role focuses on underwriting new and renewal business to drive the profitable growth of our eTrade business.
• You will assess risk desirability through regular contact with brokers, coordination with AIG subject matter experts, and reviews of claims history and company information.
• Building strong relationships with brokers is key. You will provide excellent service through a consistent, timely, and proactive approach, and aim to generate new business by expanding your broker network, attending broker events, and building new relationships across the market, aligned with your sales plan.
• You will also be responsible for providing accurate monthly management information, including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.

What you'll need to succeed

• Underwriting experience is preferred; however, relevant professional experience in related fields is also welcome.
• Ability to analyze financial statements.
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Customer and sales-oriented behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable.
