Job summary

AmTrust International in London is seeking an Underwriter to join the Mortgage & Credit team. You will support the Head in driving growth, profitability, and strategic oversight across a multi-product portfolio.

You will hold underwriting authority for the UK regulated entity and represent the business when engaging MGAs and reinsurers. The role requires strong data-driven decision making, confident communication with internal and external stakeholders, and a commercial mindset focused on

Qualifications

• Strong track record of profitable underwriting within any specialty or financial lines, preferably Mortgage and/or credit lines.
• Ability to make sound, data-driven decisions.
• Confident communicator with experience engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with a clear focus on portfolio performance and long-term value creation.
