Job summary

LandScope Engineering, part of the Celnor Group, is seeking experienced Utility Surveyors for its Shropshire-based underground survey teams. You will contribute to PAS128 utility surveys, leverage EM locating and GPR technologies, and produce deliverables using AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Minimum two years' experience as an Underground Utility Surveyor.
Hold or be working towards a ProQual qualification.
Proficient in Radiodetection and Vivax locating equipment.
Competent in Ground Penetrating Radar systems.
Experience delivering PAS128 utility surveys.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.
Understanding of drainage principles for site surveys and design.
Experience delivering high-quality work within agreed timescales.
Awareness of topographical survey principles.
Experience supervising or mentoring junior survey staff.
Strong health and safety awareness and commitment to safe systems of work.
Good communication and organisational skills.
Full UK driving licence.
Willingness to travel regularly and stay away from home when required.

Responsibilities

Deliver PAS128 underground utility surveys.
Undertake utility mapping projects using electromagnetic locating and ground penetrating radar technologies.
Operate Radiodetection and Vivax electromagnetic locating equipment.
Carry out ground penetrating radar surveys using a range of industry-standard systems.
Process and interpret survey data to produce accurate deliverables.
Produce and review survey outputs using AutoCAD.
Support projects involving topographical and drainage survey information.
Supervise trainee surveyors and provide guidance and training where required.
Lead field teams on utility survey projects; ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
