Job summary

UI Transmission & Distribution Ltd is recruiting an EHV Cables Construction Manager for site-based work across Scotland. You will supervise key cabling packages, help produce construction plans, and coordinate engineering support, procurement, and delivery teams.

Experience in cable installation, jointing, and testing, plus a valid UK driving license and right to work in the UK, are essential. Travel across Scotland is expected as projects progress.

Qualifications

Minimum ISCED Level 5 qualification or equivalent with relevant site delivery experience.
Experience overseeing cable/substation projects and underground cabling works.
Knowledge of civil, electrical aspects of cabling projects and testing.
Ability to manage subcontractors, resources, and project schedule with SHEQ in mind.

Responsibilities

Supervise and deliver key packages of construction projects.
Assist in producing construction plans and coordinating the Engineering support team.
Procure construction materials and subcontracts for project delivery.
Lead delivery teams and align on-site solutions with Engineering requirements.
