Job summary

University of East Anglia is seeking a Laboratory Technician to support undergraduate teaching within the School of Chemistry, Pharmacy and Pharmacology. You will prepare and clear experiments, maintain stock, and handle materials and safety records.

This on-site full-time role offers flexible working options including annualised hours and hybrid arrangements. Starting salary £25,249 with increments up to £26,093.

Qualifications

• Proven laboratory experience with understanding of laboratory safety and good practice.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clear laboratory experiments.
• Maintain adequate stock levels.
• Prepare specialist materials and solutions.
• Maintain laboratory records including COSHH and risk assessments.
• Provide advice on Health and Safety policies to staff and students.
