Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center seeks an ultrasound technologist to perform imaging exams under supervision and to recognize cross‑sectional anatomy. You will document exams in RIS/PACS and HIS while delivering excellent patient service.

Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of an accredited ultrasound program (post‑2002 hires), ARDMS certification/eligibility, and BLS. Weekend and on‑call rotation participation is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program if hired after 2002.
• ARDMS certified or ARDMS eligible; must certify within first year.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging examinations under supervision.
• Record results in RIS/PACS/HIS and ensure proper documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service and participate in weekend/call rotation.
