Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center in Vermont is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team. Under the supervision of a radiologist and the Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will perform nuclear medicine imaging, follow scanning protocols, and inject isotopes when required.

This position requires graduation from an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or equivalent, and certification as NMRT/ARRT with BLS.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program is required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging on nuclear medicine equipment following scanning and imaging protocols.
• Recognize cross-sectional anatomy and perform scans and isotope injections where applicable.
• Provide service excellence and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
• Use RIS/PACS and HIS for recording patient exams and disseminating results.
