Public Health Wales seeks a Clinical Skills Trainer to deliver and supervise abdominal aortic screening training across north west Wales. You will oversee QA under programme policies, assess colleagues and initiate further training where needed, and teach complex sonography skills, including AAA identification.

You will travel between units to deliver training across multiple sites. The role requires an ultrasound qualification (DMU) with SVT accreditation and ongoing education in vascular

Competenze

• DMU or equivalent ultrasound qualification required.
• Postgraduate diploma/certificate in general medical ultrasound.
• Postgraduate certificate in vascular ultrasound desirable.
• Fully SVT-accredited as AVS.
• Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver clinical skills training and supervision to staff performing abdominal aortic screening.
• Oversee supervision and quality assurance of AAA screeners under programme policies.
• Assess colleagues' work and facilitate further training as needed.
