Job summary

Selwood Ltd in the West Midlands is seeking an Installation Operative based at our Birmingham (Wolverhampton) branch. The role involves installing pipework on customer sites including construction, wastewater, and clean water projects, with occasional visits to the branch.

You will join a diverse team, work on-site across the UK, assist drivers, and uphold safety standards. A valid UK driving licence and a safety-focused mindset are essential; CSCS and water hygiene certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on client sites including construction, wastewater and clean water.
• Flexible hours and be available to be part of an on-call rota.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and accommodate staying away from home.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).

Responsibilities

• Install pipework and assist drivers with loading/unloading vehicles.
• Promote the company's mission and deliver high-quality installation services.
• Maintain safety and report issues to the supervisor.
• Work at heights and in confined spaces where required.
