Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; UK water/wastewater experience preferred.
• Significant experience delivering mechanical designs in water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering design work and manage priorities.
• Strong understanding of pumping systems, pipework, valves and process equipment.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and drive technical governance and quality.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex mechanical design deliveries in water/wastewater projects.
• Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop innovative and economically viable engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs are safe, compliant, buildable and cost effective.
• Produce and review mechanical design calculations, specs, reports, drawings and documents.
• Support major bids and contribute to project delivery strategies.
• Act as technical reviewer ensuring governance and quality standards.
