Job summary

Red Recruit is seeking an experienced Transport Manager to lead its UK transport operation at London Gateway. You will supervise driving teams, schedule routes and maintain compliance to ensure safe, efficient transport for fashion and general logistics sectors.

The role requires a National and International Transport Manager CPC in Road Haulage and proven leadership of a busy operation. This is a permanent, full-time position with Monday–Friday hours and ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Requires National and International Transport Manager CPC in Road Haulage.
• Proven leadership of a busy transport or logistics operation.
• Experience managing both vehicles and drivers with compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring on-time collections and deliveries.
• Manage ~20 vehicles and drivers, including various vehicle types.
• Plan routes, scheduling, and driver performance with safety in mind.
• Ensure Operator Licence compliance and adherance to tachograph rules.
• Analyse transport data to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with planning, warehouse and customer service teams.
