FTV Proclad International Limited operates in the Proclad UK group, seeking a Technical Manager to lead the UK technical team. The role requires extensive oil & gas metallurgy knowledge, hands-on welding experience, and strong leadership to drive technical strategy and client engagement.

The successful candidate will oversee QA, budgets, and bid reviews, while promoting lean manufacturing and new market development. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.

Competenze

• Engineering degree required with extensive oil & gas experience.
• Hands-on welding and machining knowledge essential.
• Experience managing engineering teams and customer relationships.
• Ability to present technical information to managers, clients and the public.

Mansioni

• Lead the UK technical team to support sales and operations.
• Maintain ISO 3834 accreditations and QA processes.
• Oversee budget, bids, tenders and contract terms.
• Drive R&D and lean manufacturing improvements across UK operations.
• Promote the company in industry bodies and at trade events.
