Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Bracknell seeks a UK Strategic Sourcing Leader to drive subcontractor negotiations and strategic sourcing for project delivery. You will partner with project management, estimating and sales to optimize pre-bid and post-award costs and secure savings while maintaining quality. You will lead supplier selection, develop district strategies, manage relationships and ensure policy compliance. Fluent English and SAP/Oracle experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field; Masters preferred.
• 5-8 years business experience, including 3-5 years in a relevant sourcing capacity.
• Proven experience in subcontractor negotiations and terms.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle procurement systems.
• Strong communication, leadership and cross-cultural collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement subcontract strategies.
• Define and maintain a formal district sourcing strategy based on business needs.
• Negotiate price, payment terms, and other delivery terms with suppliers/subcontractors.
• Build and maintain strong supplier/subcontractor relationships.
• Drive use of preferred subcontractors and negotiated catalogs.
• Support development of cost estimates during proposals.
• Engage with Sales and estimating during front-end planning.
• Provide proposal support and RFP guidance.
• Identify subcontractors to meet business requirements and ensure qualification.
• Renegotiate terms post-award to achieve savings.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and remedy issues.
• Lead the supply function and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
