Job summary

Festina Finance in Manchester seeks a Senior Software Engineer to join as the UK’s first senior technical profile, shaping how the life and pensions platform is adapted for the UK market.

You will collaborate with product, architecture and engineering teams in Denmark while staying close to UK customers and regulatory requirements.

This hands-on leadership role offers real influence on technology direction, REST APIs, integrations and high-quality production software for a fast-growing fintech.

Qualifications

• Strong backend engineering experience in Java, C# or similar technologies.
• Experience with complex enterprise systems, APIs, integrations and production-critical software.
• Ideally experience from pensions, insurance, financial services or another regulated software environment.

Responsibilities

• Adapting a modern life and pensions platform to the UK market.
• Implementing pensions-specific business logic.
• Building REST APIs and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Supporting UK customer implementations and regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to automated testing, performance and production quality.
• Helping establish strong engineering practices in the UK team.
