Client Overview:

Listgrove is working with a leader in polymer compounding, who has joined forces with a producer of bio-based products. The aim of this partnership is to drive a more sustainable product range into the plastics industry using the power of plants.

Role Overview:

Collaborate with the existing sales teams across both companies to support and drive ongoing projects, while identifying new business opportunities. Target brand owners to elicit their buy-in and promote the flow of business down to manufacturers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive current and new sales opportunities within set budgets.
  2. Work closely with technical teams to enable timely project completion.
  3. Build and manage a pipeline of potential customers, tracking progress to conversion.
  4. Network at conferences and trade shows to generate leads and drive sales.
  5. Engage confidently with customers from SMEs and blue-chip companies.
  6. Consider production costs, gross profit, freight, storage, credit insurance, and finance charges.
  7. Target 15-20 customer meetings per month via face-to-face and online interactions.
  8. Lead quarterly reviews of pipeline and sales activities.
Candidate Profile:
  1. Proven experience in direct B2B sales.
  2. Experience in relevant industries (Polymers, Recycled Polymers, Additives), preferably with some focus on bio-based products.
  3. Fluent in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  4. Comfortable with overseas travel.
  5. Strong communication skills.
