Job Description

We are seeking an experienced UK Sales and Education Manager in the Manchester area who is passionate about the clean color category and safe, performance-driven ingredients. This individual will exemplify and advocate for the ILIA lifestyle, champion our in-store presence, and enhance client experience. Strong communication skills are essential for educating store teams on our unique points of difference. This role will significantly impact our retail sales performance and overall ranking. The UK Sales and Education Manager will report to the UK Sr. Sales and Education Manager.

Open to candidates with permanent residence in the Manchester, England metropolitan area and the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Train retail store teams on product attributes, ingredients, and application techniques; lead by example by embodying ILIA’s core values.
  2. Act as a liaison between ILIA and our retail partners, including in-store and regional leadership.
  3. Build and develop a results-driven freelance artistry team.
  4. Analyze and maintain regional sales reports.
  5. Maintain clear communication with HQ and accounts.
  6. Set and achieve seasonal and monthly sales goals for the territory by store.
  7. Collaborate with the Director of Sales Planning & Strategy on inventory concerns.
  8. Understand retailer-specific cultures and adapt approaches to ensure success.
  9. Develop event activation programs to increase brand presence in key locations and ensure proper execution.
  10. Drive regional business through creativity, education, and field strategies.
  11. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance understanding of the business and category.
  12. Leverage negotiation skills to secure opportunities for increased brand awareness and visibility.
  13. Regularly visit stores during peak days and work alongside retail employees.
  14. Uphold ILIA’s visual standards on tester units and gondolas.
Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of cosmetic sales experience, preferably in a pro artist or training role.
  • Experience working with Sephora or SpaceNK is required.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to speak to groups, inspire, and motivate teams; experience managing and developing freelance teams.
  • Ability to build collaborative and effective business partnerships.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, with high energy and enthusiasm.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
