Job summary

AlgoSec is seeking a high-impact Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with UK/EMEA-based customers from a UK home-office setup. In this role you will consult customers with best practices as a Trusted Advisor, identify trends in their technical landscapes, and collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams to drive measurable customer impact.

Requirements include at least 3 years of experience in a similar software role, strong Linux/UNIX

Qualifications

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
Experience with firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.).
Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

Consult customers with best practices as a 'Trusted Advisor'.
Identify trends in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams to deliver customer impact.
