Job summary

Human Appeal seeks a strategic Head of UK Programmes to lead UK programming, fundraising, and partner relations across the country. You will design and implement the UK programme strategy, ensuring strong donor engagement, transparent reporting, and alignment with Human Appeal’s values and priorities.

You will build a robust network of stakeholders in Greater Manchester, oversee funding proposals, manage budgets, and drive institutional partnerships to maximise impact and sustainability of UK

Qualifications

• Graduate, ideally in a related field such as Social Sciences.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the charity sector.
• Proficient with MS Office and English language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement UK programming strategy and funding handbook.
• Collaborate with Programme and Fundraising teams to align strategies.
• Ensure UK priorities meet organisational strategy and civil society presence in Greater Manchester.
• Lead UK stakeholder engagement and attend key events.
• Raise HA's profile in the UK charity sector through partnerships and networks.
• Prepare annual UK business plan and funding sources with ROI.
• Research and develop proposals for institutional donors.
• Monitor UK projects through field visits and reporting.
• Oversee partner selection and capacity building.
