Job summary

Roche UK is seeking a Head of UK Finance Operations to ensure integrity, compliance and effectiveness of Finance Operations across Roche UK. The role leads a team of specialists in Accounting, ICFR & Financial Compliance, and Procurement, providing senior judgement on material matters.

You will partner with RSS, UK Tax, Group Finance and other UK stakeholders to deliver robust financial governance, drive automation, and modernise processes while maintaining high standards of fiduciary

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with senior finance experience.
Experience in large, complex organisations.
Proven ability to modernise finance processes with automation and AI.
Ability to influence senior leaders and drive governance.

Responsibilities

Act as Site Controller for Roche UK Pharma and oversee major financial matters across the site.
Lead the UK Finance Operations team and develop capabilities for current and future needs.
Be the senior authorised Finance signatory for Roche UK Pharma adhering to governance requirements.
Own the UK external audit process and coordinate with RSS and Group teams.
Oversee financial reporting, compliance, ICFR, and regulatory obligations for Roche UK.
Drive technology-enabled transformation of Finance Operations leveraging automation and AI.
