Job summary

Roche UK is seeking a strategic Head of UK Finance Operations to safeguard financial integrity and compliance across the site. You will lead a team of accounting, ICFR and procurement specialists and serve as the senior finance signatory.

Reporting to RSS and Group Finance, you will modernise processes, implement automation, and ensure timely financial reporting and audit readiness while upholding governance standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as Site Controller for Roche UK Pharma, overseeing significant financial matters.
• Lead the UK Finance Operations team across Accounting, ICFR/Internal Controls & Financial Compliance, and Procurement.
• Act as a senior authorised Finance signatory for Roche UK Pharma, reviewing significant financial transactions and approvals.
• Own the UK financial compliance environment, translating group requirements into local policies and controls.
• Provide senior oversight of accounting and financial reporting, including VPAG and rebates, accruals and treasury.
• Own the external audit process from the local lens and act as main local finance lead for compliance and assurance.
