Job summary

Select Engineering Limited is seeking a UK Payroll Renewal Manager to lead a major transformation programme replacing the payroll system. The role delivers process change, governance, testing and stakeholder management over an 18-month fixed-term project.

You will drive requirements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure accurate payroll delivery while building a modern, compliant payroll service for thousands of employees.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience with Payroll Applications SAP/Global View.
• Knowledge of UK payroll processes and statutory requirements.
• Experience with enterprise Payroll/HR systems.
• Strong project management experience.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, prioritise and coordinate team activities across payroll transformation and BAU change.
• Manage payroll requirements with internal stakeholders and third-party integrators.
• Review system designs to ensure payroll, controls and end-user requirements are met.
• Coordinate payroll testing and UAT and oversee defect resolution.
• Drive project governance, plans, milestones and status reporting.
