Job summary

PayFit is seeking a Payroll Expert in the United Kingdom to become a subject matter expert on complex UK payroll cases, supporting customers, training teams, and elevating payroll knowledge across the organisation.

You will handle escalated queries, review and enhance payroll knowledge integrated into tools and training resources, and contribute to the development of high-quality content and AI-enabled guidance. This role is based in the UK with Work From Anywhere eligibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in payroll management
• Solid understanding of UK payroll legislation and pension processes
• Experience handling complex and escalated payroll queries

Responsibilities

• Resolve expert-categorised tickets and escalated cases with detailed resolutions
• Audit and reconcile payroll and benefits data to identify discrepancies
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK payroll legislation and ensure compliance
• Create and improve internal training content and AI-enabled support tools
