Job summary

Alpheus is seeking an experienced Head of UK Operations to lead safe, compliant delivery of our Operations & Maintenance portfolio across the United Kingdom. You will guide senior teams, shape strategy, and build strong relationships with major customers while driving commercial performance and sustainable growth.

You will lead a national O&M organisation, champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and influence business direction through high-impact governance and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• IOSH RAMS qualification or equivalent experience.
• Senior leadership experience in operations, engineering, utilities or related sector.
• Experience managing multi-million-pound budgets with strong commercial acumen.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of all O&M contracts across the UK with emphasis on safety, compliance and customer focus.
• Provide strategic leadership to operational teams, aligning resources with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders.
• Drive health, safety, quality, environmental performance and process safety across all activities.
• Mentor and develop Northern O&M Manager, Southern O&M Manager and Business Compliance Lead.
• Ensure governance, compliance and continuous improvement are embedded across the portfolio.
• Take ownership of financial performance, budgets, profitability and commercial outcomes.
• Support business development through opportunity-shaping and bid submissions.
• Lead mobilisation and implementation of new contracts.
