Job summary

Fast growth automotive business in London is seeking an experienced UK OEM Product Launch Manager to drive the UK entry of a new passenger car. You will shape positioning, launch strategy, residuals, insurance positioning and customer finance propositions, coordinating cross-functional teams across the entire launch process.

You’ll manage milestones, liaise with dealers and media, and ensure commercial viability of the car.

Qualifications

• Significant UK passenger-car OEM experience.
• Led major vehicle launches.
• Excellent automotive finance knowledge including PCP/PCH, APR, deposits, GFVs and monthly-payment competitiveness.
• Understanding of vehicle insurance ratings.

Responsibilities

• Create a master launch plan.
• Coordinate critical milestones: vehicle availability, dealer readiness, training, logistics, digital, media, aftersales and finance.
• Get the relevant teams moving.
• Analyse the UK competitive landscape.
• Research how the new car compares with its key rivals and position.
• Work with Finance and RV partners to adjust the proposition before launch.
• Coordinate the launch ensuring all teams deliver their part.
• Present the vehicle strategy to dealers and liaise with media.
