Job summary

SugaRich is seeking an Operations Director to shape our national manufacturing network across seven UK sites. You will set the direction for safe, compliant and cost-efficient operations while delivering exceptional safety, quality, service and sustainability outcomes.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead site leadership teams, drive performance reviews, manage budgets and CAPEX, and build a culture of continuous improvement and people development across the organisation.

Qualifications

• At least five years in a senior operational leadership or executive role.
• Significant multi-site manufacturing leadership experience.
• Background in FMCG, food manufacturing, feed manufacturing, ingredients, recycling or related sector.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear leadership and direction across seven UK manufacturing sites.
• Develop and deliver manufacturing strategies aligned with wider business objectives.
• Lead safety, quality and sustainability initiatives across the network.
• Manage operational budgets and capital expenditure programmes.
• Lead site investment, development and manufacturing improvement projects.
• Coach Site Managers and build high-performing teams.
