Job summary

Octave is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our HR function across the UK and Ireland (circa 300 employees). You will partner with leaders, manage the full employee lifecycle, and act as a trusted advisor on people policies and performance.

This role offers hybrid working with 1–2 days per week in Swindon after probation, and a chance to shape employee experience in a growing global technology organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant HR Generalist experience in a manager role.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland employment law and HR best practices.
• Experience advising and influencing managers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR function across UK & Ireland with 1 direct report.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to align people strategies with objectives.
• Advise on employee relations, legislation, policies and best practice.
• Oversee onboarding, compensation, benefits, ER and offboarding with Centres of Excellence support.
• Ensure payroll data accuracy and liaise with payroll team.
