Decathlon UK is seeking an Internal Control Specialist (UK) to embed a strong compliance culture across the UK. You will design and review Level 2 controls, work with Legal, Tax and Financial Reporting, and ensure alignment with HMRC and UK GAAP/IFRS requirements.

You will partner with Group Internal Control, external auditors and senior leaders, bringing hands-on risk management and a drive for continuous improvement. ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIA or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in internal audit, internal control, or external audit (Big4 or top-tier preferred).
• Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant/auditor (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CIA or equivalent).
• UK GAAP/IFRS, VAT, Customs, and governance knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Embed internal control culture and risk management across UK operations.
• Maintain UK Risk & Control Matrix and annual gap analyses.
• Plan and execute Level 2 controls across core cycles (VAT/Tax, Finance, SAPIN II, store cash & inventory).
• Coordinate audits with Group Internal Control and external auditors; track remediation actions.
