Job summary

Thoughtworks in the UK & Ireland seeks a Director-level Market Lead to head Data & AI practice. Hybrid leadership blending deep technical solutioning with commercial acumen, engaging CDOs, CIOs and CFOs.

You will build and mentor a 5–6 direct reports and a 50–75 person matrix, shape the UKI go-to-market, pricing, staffing and delivery, and drive production AI and agentic delivery to generate value and margins.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data consulting with recent production AI experience.
• Proven ability to shape and sell large Data & AI deals.
• Deep architecture discussion and executive-level negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial success on complex Data & AI deals UKI from opportunity to signed deal.
• Lead and mentor a 5–6 direct reports and a 50–75 person matrix across UKI.
• Shape pricing models, staffing plans, and delivery approaches for value delivery.
• Maintain executive relationships with CDOs, CIOs, and CFOs; ensure governance and risk controls.
• Advance AI-first delivery and production engineering capabilities while managing margins.
