• Defence business development experience in UK military or defence industry.
• Credible with military users and programme teams.
• Comfortable discussing technical capability topics beyond commercial terms.

Responsibilities

• Generate and capture UK hypersonic defence opportunities by understanding user pain points and long-term roadmaps.
• Lead ongoing engagement with UK military customers, programme teams, and capability developers with credibility.
• Shape and execute UK growth strategies aligned with defence priorities and competitive dynamics.
• Translate mission problems into clear product direction for internal prioritisation and milestones.
• Maintain awareness of competitor activity and emerging concepts to inform positioning.
• Manage complex, long-cycle opportunity development across concept, assessment and programme formation.
• Build and maintain B2B partnerships with primes and tech partners to accelerate access and delivery.
• Articulate Hypersonica’s value to senior operators and industry partners with operational relevance.
• Support senior briefings, demonstrations, and customer engagements with clarity and substance.
• Represent the voice of the customer to keep defence solutions relevant and best in class.
