Job summary

ERSG Ltd in the United Kingdom is recruiting a senior HSE leader to develop and drive the UK HSE strategy across projects, sites and regions, translating business objectives into clear priorities and improvement plans.

You will provide strategic advice to the executive team on HSE performance, regulatory compliance and governance, oversee management systems and audits, and lead a growing team of HSE professionals to raise safety standards.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent required.
• Chartered IOSH status preferred.
• Experience in renewable energy, power, major construction, or high-risk industries.
• Proven leadership of HSE teams and governance.
• In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the UK HSE strategy across projects, sites and regions.
• Provide strategic advice to senior leadership on HSE performance and governance.
• Oversee HSE management systems, assurance programmes, audits and reporting.
• Lead, develop and support HSE managers and teams.
• Drive improvements in safety culture and contractor management.
• Oversee incident investigations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project directors, clients and external stakeholders to raise standards.
• Monitor legislation changes and emerging risks to ensure timely response.
