Zusammenfassung

Hypersonica is seeking a Head of Quality in the UK to build and lead the quality capability across our UK operations. You will own quality across design, supply chain, manufacturing, assembly, test and production, coordinating with the Group Director of Quality and counterparts in Germany.

This regional leadership role requires hands-on ownership of quality readiness gates, nonconformance handling, supplier quality, and robust auditing.

Qualifikationen

• Senior quality leader with aerospace/defence or high-consequence engineering experience.
• Proven ability to build or reshape a Quality Management System, ideally AS9100.
• Experience across full product lifecycle from design to production.

Aufgaben

• Build and lead UK quality across design, supply chain, manufacturing, assembly, test, and production.
• Design and implement a lean Quality Management System aligned to AS9100 and defence requirements.
• Own AS9100 certification pathway including gap assessments, audits, and readiness.
• Define credible quality controls for prototype through production hardware and ensure traceability.
• Embed quality into engineering and operations; manage nonconformance, CAPA, and MRB processes.
• Lead supplier quality model with audits, supplier quality agreements, and IQC/FCI processes.
• Create concise quality metrics used by leadership (NCR, first-pass yield, CAPA closure).
• Build and lead the future UK quality team across design, supplier, and manufacturing quality.
