Overall Purpose of the Role:

Senior Salesperson participating in the development of the GSF franchise with UK clients, with a particular focus on Fixed Income Financing Solutions transactions on Structured Finance assets (ABS, CLOs, loans, etc…), mainly with (but not limited to) Real Money Clients (Insurers, Pension Funds, Asset Managers, etc.).

Range of Products:

Including, but not limited to, Secured Funding instruments (Fixed Income), Repos Cross Asset and Cross Currency, Collateralized Notes and Collateralized Funds structures, Total Return Swaps, Asset Switches, etc.

Main Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
  • Originate and execute solutions / secured funding transactions, primarily on the fixed solution segment with focus on (but not limited to) insurers, pension funds, hedge funds and asset managers.
  • Plan and organise client visits and meetings, establishing high level contacts with clients.
  • Maintain a high level of client intensity to be able to source profitable funding deals and grow the GSF franchise; identify the optimal assets to finance and maturities (with regards to risk/reward), increase equipment rate in GMRAs/GMSLAs and other relevant documentation for a securities financing business.
  • Develop Natixis client base (Asset Managers, Pension Funds, Issuers, Banks, etc.). Develop knowledge of clients and their needs. Position Natixis to match our capabilities with client needs. Originate new transactions. Liaise with Structuring, Trading and Product Specialist to contribute to the design of new products offered to the Natixis' clients. Relay clients feedback to the trading team.
  • Co-ordinate the Bank's efforts to service client organisations: communicate and co-ordinate flows and orders with trading and sales teams. Ensure transaction execution meets client and Natixis requirements, notably with regards to providing timely and professional pricing and ethical execution of customer flows.
  • Network with contacts to identify cross selling business opportunities.
