Job summary

Taskrabbit in London is seeking a General Manager to lead the UK country team, grow the market, and own P&L to hit net revenue and margin targets. You will work with cross-functional partners to set market strategy and deliver compelling propositions for customers and taskers.

You will shape the UK GTM, oversee marketing, partnerships and operations, and travel within the UK as needed to drive growth and coordinate across regions for scale.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in driving commercial growth of a business.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating across functions.
• Comfortable working with data in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to balance creative thinking with strong business judgment and analytics.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally to the US.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility for the UK business.
• Shape the UK strategy to deliver core goals including revenue and contribution margin.
• Accountable for both sides of the marketplace: demand generation and supply health.
• Develop value propositions on both sides of the marketplace.
• Directly manage the UK team covering marketing, partnerships and tasker operations.
• Collaborate across functions to identify opportunities driving UK market growth.
• Own local go-to-market strategy with city-specific GTM plans.
• Drive local marketing ideas, initiatives and channels to raise brand awareness.
• Identify external partners to help grow the UK business.
