Job summary

JP Morgan Chase in the UK seeks a Fund Oversight professional to manage OEICs and Investment Trusts, ensuring governance, NAV oversight and lifecycle oversight across the product range.

You will collaborate with Portfolio Management, Fund Accounting, Risk, Legal, Compliance and vendors to drive robust controls and timely reporting. The role emphasizes MI for governance committees and adherence to regulatory changes across markets.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of UK Funds industry – OEICs & Investment Trusts
• Valuation methodologies across asset classes and complex instruments
• Technical and business knowledge of UK Fund structures and activities from investment, regulatory, accounting and financial reporting perspectives
• Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Python
• Collation of Management Reporting – prepare, review and present MI to senior management and committees/forums
• Client focus with integrity, delivery and responsibility
• Relationship management – develop partnerships with key business partners
• Communication, influencing and interpersonal skills – articulate complex ideas clearly
• Self-motivated team player with ownership and continuous improvement
• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting focusing on Fair Valuation, NAV oversight, Swing Pricing and Securities Lending
• Support ad-hoc fund initiatives such as launches, terminations, mergers, name and fee changes
• Work across locations and drive synergies with Luxembourg / Asia / US
• Chair/Join/Represent the business at internal committees/forums
• Understand and contribute to business strategy and relay to vendors
• Review and provide feedback on fund documentation (Prospectus, KIID, Factsheets)
• Attend and contribute to monthly service reviews with Fund Accounting / Depositary / Data and partners
• Own reviews of SLAs and KPIs as appropriate
• Review and update procedures to maximize efficiency
• Understand regulatory changes and impact on the business
• Work with fund accountants and auditors to input into sign-off of half year and annual report and accounts
• Existing oversight of Investment Trust buybacks / issuances as required
