Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced NAV Oversight professional to join its UK Fund Accounting team. You will oversee daily NAVs, validate valuations, and collaborate with offshore locations to ensure timely client deliverables.

The role requires strong fund accounting experience, FCA regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage a global team under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Fund Accounting role with production experience is an advantage.
• Ability to manage a global team and work to multiple deadlines.
• Strong numerical skills and advanced spreadsheet use.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations for Unit Trusts, Mutual Funds and OEICs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, Trustees and offshore locations.
• IOC modules or industry standard equivalent completed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily NAVs for multiple fund types and review valuations.
• Validate high-impact NAV exceptions and support offshore locations.
• Assist offshore teams with SME knowledge, valuations and queries.
• Review cash, stock, FX and derivative reconciliations with escalation.
• Oversee monthly deliverables: yields, OCFs, and expense allocations.
• Lead client due diligence, compliance meetings and change initiatives.
• Chair daily team meetings and support colleagues on technical issues.
