Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a dynamic Business Controller to join the UK Food business. The role blends financial control with business partnering, providing monthly close, reporting and budgeting support. You will collaborate with NSC, cluster directors and unit leaders to deliver timely data and actionable insights.

Based in the UK with hybrid working, the role requires regular site visits and travel to operational sites. You will influence finance decisions and support governance across the business.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant with strong grounding in financial accounting and control.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into practical insights.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver accurate month-end close and reports.
• Present results with variance analysis and insightful commentary.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasts for UK Food.
• Identify process improvements, including automation and AI opportunities.
• Support Finance Director and act as trusted partner to operational teams.
• Drive working capital actions and monitor cash performance.
• Engage with site visits to understand local performance and risks.
