Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join a well-established UK engineering company with a strong reputation for quality and staff development. Field-based role nationwide, offering £41,600+ OTE and full company support.

You will install, refurbish and maintain air handling units and related plant at client sites across the UK, with training provided and opportunities to expand technical skills. Some overnight stays apply.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, hands-on background.
• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• NQV advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with AHUs or similar mechanical plant would be advantageous.
• Willing and able to occasionally work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Installation/service/maintenance of bespoke air handling units including fans, motors and other components.
• Mechanical fault finding.
• Test and quality inspect products using specialist equipment where necessary.
• Supporting installation and commissioning work as required.
• Read and interpret technical CAD drawings for installation.
