Fuse Energy is hiring a Data Centre Development Lead in the UK to drive end-to-end data centre projects, from first opportunity through Ready-to-Build. You will work across power, grid connection, planning, and M&A, coordinating with generation, storage, trading and supply teams to integrate power solutions into the product.

You will own site origination, due diligence, and post-completion development, negotiating SPAs and ensuring de-risking before handing to the EPC team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing data centres or large-scale power-intensive infra in the UK.
• Direct experience with UK grid connection processes (NESO, TOs, DNOs).
• Experience with private wire arrangements and PPAs (physical/virtual).
• Strong knowledge of UK planning, EIA/NSIP routes and local authorities.

Responsabilités

• Own UK data centre development end-to-end (greenfield/brownfield) to Ready-to-Build.
• Define site selection thesis: power, grid timelines, land, fibre, cooling, planning risk.
• Lead M&A activity: originations, LOI/SPA, due diligence, structuring.
• Own negotiations and post-completion development through Ready-to-Build.
• Package power offers to tenants and investors; manage pre-construction risk.
