Job summary

Capital One in the UK is seeking an experienced Compliance Business Partner to provide specialist advice across the UK financial services regulatory framework. You will translate complex regulatory requirements into practical business strategies and embed effective controls across the business.

In this hands-on role, you will assess regulatory risk for new products and customer journeys, and collaborate with Legal, Risk, Product and Operations to foster a culture of compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant compliance experience within UK financial services.
• Strong specialist knowledge of electronic money, payment services, and payments regulation.
• Ability to translate regulatory concepts into practical business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as Compliance SME for the UK business on regulatory requirements.
• Provide compliance input and risk assessments for new products, journeys, partnerships and initiatives.
• Maintain understanding of UK financial services regulatory environment (Consumer Duty, Conduct risk, Financial crime).
• Translate directives into practical business controls and challenge decisions where needed.
• Prepare high-quality compliance reporting and collaborate with senior stakeholders across Legal, Risk, Product, and Operations.
