Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is seeking an experienced UK Compliance Manager in Glasgow to lead compliance, governance and assurance across our nationwide operations. The role reports to the UK Head of Quality & Compliance and includes strategic leadership, audits, investigations and performance reporting.

You will manage a team of Compliance Advisors, maintain governance controls and develop KPIs while partnering with regulators, auditors and external bodies to drive continual improvement.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Compliance, Governance, Assurance, Quality Management or Risk Management.
• Experience in large, complex or heavily regulated industries such as infrastructure, energy or utilities.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, governance frameworks and assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing the Business Unit Compliance Strategy.
• Leading compliance governance and assurance programmes across the UK.
• Monitoring obligations and ensuring effective implementation across teams.
