Job summary

JDE Peet's UK is seeking a Category Specialist to own strategic customer relationships across convenience and discount channels and drive growth in the coffee category. You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Growth Management to deliver insight-led recommendations that boost sales, profit, and category share.

You will collaborate with internal teams to launch innovations and execute category strategies, while presenting engaging stories to customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 4+ years in Category Development/Management/Strategy within FMCG.
• Strong understanding of UK shoppers, retailers and category management.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategy and range reviews for convenience/discount customers.
• Develop customer-specific category growth plans aligned to objectives and strategy.
• Deliver insight-led recommendations based on shopper, market and performance data.
• Analyse promotional effectiveness to improve ROI and category performance.
• Influence distribution, assortment and space to maximise growth.
