Job description

You're reading this ad, so you're ready to outthink. To take your skills, knowledge and experience beyond what you thought possible. And TMP268 is the place to do it.

TMP268 is a creatively strategic marketing agency, home to the Armed Forces Recruitment Service. Protecting the nation begins here.

And what does that mean for you? It means new challenges to rise to. Being encouraged and empowered to outthink at every opportunity. It means creating industry-first solutions, harnessing emerging tech, and realising AI's potential to create human connection. It means feeling valued for everything you bring. And work you can be proud to call your own, whatever your role.

The role

We're looking for a talented and curious UI/UX Designer to join our growing digital team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys balancing creativity with problem-solving, designing intuitive digital experiences while contributing to scalable design systems used across multiple products and services.

Working alongside UX digital director, strategists, CX planners, content designer, creatives, developers and client teams, you'll help shape digital experiences that are engaging, accessible and user centred. From discovery and wireframing through to polished interfaces and component design, you'll play a key role in creating products that deliver real value to users.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the craft of interface design and the strategic thinking behind consistent, scalable digital experiences.

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a collaborative and creative designer who combines strong visual design skills with a genuine passion for creating exceptional user experiences. You'll be equally comfortable thinking strategically about customer journeys as you are crafting polished, high-fidelity interfaces.

You'll have experience designing websites, digital products or applications within a UI/UX role, with a portfolio that demonstrates both user-centred thinking and beautifully crafted interface design. You'll be highly proficient in Figma, using components, Auto Layout, variables and interactive prototyping to bring ideas to life.

You'll be confident creating user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs, with a strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility, interaction design, typography, layout and visual hierarchy. You'll also have experience working with design systems, creating reusable components that enable scalable, consistent digital experiences.

You'll be able to translate user insights and business requirements into intuitive, engaging digital solutions, working collaboratively with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure your designs are delivered effectively. Above all, you'll be an excellent communicator with a collaborative mindset, a natural curiosity and a genuine passion for creating and continuously improving exceptional digital experiences.
