Job summary

Lighthouse Games in Leamington Spa is seeking a UI Technical Artist to turn visual concepts into polished, responsive in-game interfaces using Unreal Engine. You will work closely with UI Artists, Designers and Engineers to implement screens, menus and HUD elements with performance and cross‑platform consistency in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing in-game interfaces as a UI Technical Artist or similar
• Proficient Unreal Engine UI development with UMG and widget blueprints
• Portfolio/showreel demonstrating implemented UI and technical contributions
• Strong understanding of widget layouts, scaling, reusable components, animation and interactive states
• Knowledge of UI performance and debugging techniques
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Implement UI screens, menus and HUD elements in Unreal Engine using UMG and widget Blueprints
• Build reusable widgets and scalable UI structures maintaining visual consistency
• Implement UI animations, transitions and interactive feedback for various input methods
• Collaborate with Artists, Designers and Engineers to connect interfaces to gameplay systems
• Test, troubleshoot and optimise interfaces for performance, resolutions and accessibility
• Improve and document UI implementation workflows, tools and guidelines
