Job summary

Rocksteady Studios in London is seeking an exceptionally talented UI Artist to join our family of staff. The ideal candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team to create high quality user interfaces that deliver an intuitive and enjoyable experience.

Qualifications

• Experience designing UI for games or transferable interactive UI.
• Experience implementing UI in Unreal Engine or similar engine.
• Proficiency with widgets, materials and shaders in a UI context.
• Strong eye for typography, colour theory and layout.
• Ability to justify design decisions to artists, designers and engineers.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (Figma, Adobe Suite).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI team to create, implement and maintain UI materials and shaders.
• Develop UI visual concepts, wireframes and functional prototypes.
• Support design and user feedback to polish features to a high standard.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to cross-functional teammates.
