Responsibilities

• Liaising with programme module leads for clinical placement programmes.
• Collaborating on the delivery of the annual clinical tutor day.
• Providing support to clinical placement tutors and students.

Job description

The Module Lead will play a key role:

Liaising with other programme module leads to ensure accredited clinical placement programmes have the most up to date evidence‑based learning objectives in line with the theoretical knowledge gained on the programme throughout the final year working closely with the senior teaching and learning administrator to assign clinical placements to students and maintain the clinical placement handbooks.

Being responsible for collaborating and contributing to the delivery of the annual clinical tutor day in conjunction with the other clinical placement lead and co‑programme director, providing training in QA for external placement sites regarding competency framework. being the first point of contact for clinical placement tutors needing to liaise with UCL regarding a student on placement and offer pastoral support to students as required.

Working collaboratively with the current clinical placement module lead for year 1 clinical placements to provide seamless transition for leaners.
