SubSea Craft, a UK-based maritime tech company, is seeking a UAV Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and prototype special-purpose UAS for maritime applications. The role covers conceptual and detailed design, plus hands-on workshop tasks as prototypes are built and tested.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, demonstrable UAS design/build experience, and a pragmatic, fail-fast learning approach. Expect international collaboration and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an associated engineering discipline.
• Engineering creativity and a proactive mindset to push boundaries.
• Experience in design/build of unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of special-purpose Unmanned Aerial Systems for maritime domain.
• Rapid prototyping from concept to functioning prototypes.
• Mechanical, electrical, and system-level design of UAS platforms.
