Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking an UAV Electronics/Integration Engineer for a on-site role in Shaftesbury, Dorset. You will translate concepts into electronic designs, develop hardware, and integrate avionics and power systems for UAV platforms.

The role involves hands-on hardware bring-up, test plan development, and close collaboration with mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing engineers to deliver integrated UAV systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or integrating electronics within UAVs or embedded systems.
• Experience from design to prototype, integration, testing, and validation.
• Ability to interpret requirements into engineering solutions.
• Experience with evolving requirements and adaptable designs.

Responsibilities

• Translate UAV concepts into practical electronic and system designs.
• Develop and prototype electronic hardware, interfaces, and subsystems.
• Support schematic design, PCB development, wiring, and hardware bring-up.
• Integrate subsystems into complete UAV platforms.
• Develop and execute engineering test plans and validation trials.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated UAV systems.
