Job summary

Stepping Stone Projects’ Chatsworth Grove Office Base (Manchester) is seeking a Supported Housing Worker to support unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people in the UK. You will deliver practical housing management and tailored support, helping them access education, healthcare and local services while building independence.

You'll work closely with a caseload to develop plans, conduct risk assessments and empower young people to achieve safe, stable housing and brighter futures.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported housing and tenancy management.
• Background in work with unaccompanied asylum-seeking young people preferred.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred support.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored support plans with risk assessments and case records.
• Carry out property visits and manage accommodation responsibilities.
• Advocate with local authorities, education providers and health services.
• Support access to education, training, healthcare and community opportunities.
• Maintain records in line with Data Protection and SSP policies.
