Job summary

Morson Edge in Fareham, Hampshire, England, is recruiting for a hands-on UAS Mechanical Production Technician to join a specialist team working on unmanned aircraft, payloads and related ground support gear. You will help assemble, integrate, test and deliver mechanical systems to high safety and reliability standards.

The role is site-based, with a 37.5-hour week (Mon–Fri) and potential for overtime or weekend discussions.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in mechanical/ aerospace engineering.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, testing and fault-finding.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance instructions.
• Safety-focused with experience in controlled procedures and safe systems of work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and align mechanical components to drawings.
• Carry out functional checks and pre-delivery inspections.
• Fault-find and troubleshoot mechanical systems.
• Support payload integration and aircraft rigging.
• Maintain tools, equipment and accurate records.
