Job summary

Cardiff City FC is seeking an Academy Performance Analyst for the U16 age group to lead the analysis program. You will film matches, deliver post-match video and statistics, and support players with development plans through data-driven feedback.

You will work with coaches to align analysis with development metrics, maintain Hudl and data systems, and participate in meetings to drive performance improvements within a professional academy.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS Certificate.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adaptability within a fast-paced environment.
• Professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• UEFA C Coaching Licence.
• Experience within a football Academy.

Responsibilities

• Film all U16 home fixtures and selected away matches.
• Provide detailed post-match video and statistical analysis to coaches and players.
• Support player IDPs through video and statistical feedback.
• Maintain and update the Academy's Hudl video library and statistical databases.
• Participate in pre- and post-match meetings with coaches and players.
• Work closely with coaching and analysis staff to align analysis with the Academy's key player-development metrics.
